L.I-W.A.L.T: Write a recount.
Success Criteria: I know I can do this when I can write a recount  and use capital letters and full stops correctly.

  One lovely Saturday afternoon we had nothing to do at home.  So Grandpa and I planned to go fishing.I took my jacket and my fishing rod.We had not much fishing supplies so we went to the fishing supplies shop first.I got some cheap squid for bait while Grandpa bought some hooks, food and a net for prawns.

We arrived at the fishing place at the city.There were boats, heaps of rocks and a wobbly bridge.We picked up a spot so grandpa can organise the rods.While I was waiting I got some rocks and I threw them on the water and counted how many times  it bounces.  I went to catch some prawns with the net.The only way to catch prawns is to scrape the sides of the log that hold the platform with a net.

When the rods were ready I grabbed it excitedly. I didn't catch anything but when I went at the end of the platform, I caught lots of fish. Then I went to see my Grandpa and I was surprised that he caught lots of fish than me.

Lastly, I challenged my grandpa to catch the biggest fish.We had a timer for 30 mins.I went farther than where I was before.My Grandpa was still fishing at the same place but a little bit farther.When the time was up we measured our fish my but Grandpa caught the biggest fish. I threw my fish back in the water because we had enough fish.    

Finally we went home and we cleaned them. We cooked them and we ate it.
