L.I.W.A.L.T-Write a recount.
Success.Criteria:I know I can do this when I can write a story about Ash Wednesday in order and use capital letters and full stops correctly.
On Ash Wednesday the whole school went to the church to give up our favourite treasure drawings.We stood outside waiting for father.We were joined by the kindergarten children.First we listened to father Andrews' talk why we gave up our favourites on Ash Wednesday.Then he burned all the drawings.
After that the whole school went inside the church.We sang a song and make the sign of the cross. Father read us a story from the bible.Lastly father got the ashes and everyone stood up to have the sign of the the cross of ashes on our forehead. Ms Bullot helped him because there are lots of people.
Finally the church finished and we sang our last song then we left.
