Astria Countdown to Impact

“Students don’t learn much playing this game called Astria – Countdown to Impact: Their time could be better spent doing other things”.

I partly agree because people could be doing more important things like learning more Spelling words and  practicing  your handwriting. Anyway we could just read big books or journal that children are interested in and analyse the main point of reading the book and explain it.

How can we use Advent to open ourselves and let Jesus become a bigger part of our lives?

What is Advent?
Advent is the first Season of the Christian Church. It also means the Second coming of Jesus, In Latin it means Coming.

How can we use Advent to open ourselves and let Jesus become a bigger part of our lives?

Thinking about our attitude we can recognize what needs to be changed so we can let Jesus be a bigger part of our lives. By acting respectfully to our elders teachers and elders. Acting with obedience when people tells us what to do. If we act with kindness and don't act rude.

Explanation: How to play safely?

How do we play safely in playtime?

Rules

To play safely we have to follow the game rules so we have no
fighting and no cheating. If we don't follow the rules we don't
know how to play, and children will make new complicated rules.
Rules are very important, they protect or maybe make a game.

Fighting

If children make up new rules, the children might disagree and
start fighting to make a more simple rule. Fighting can be easily
caused, it can be caused by showing off, not having enough
players, not following the RULES and trash talking to the other
team.

Cheating

When children cheat they ruin the game because they’re not
playing the game properly. When someone cheats no one might
play with them because they might not like cheaters. Cheating
can make children mad and mostly annoyed.

It is essential that whatever game is played will have  rules so
there will be no fighting and cheating.

The Parable of the lost son

Learning.Intention: I am learning to say the parable of the lost son in my own words without reading the parable.

Luke 15:11-24
11 Jesus continued: “There was a man who had two sons. 12 The younger one said to his father, ‘Father, give me my share of the estate.’ So he divided his property between them.
13 “Not long after that, the younger son got together all he had, set off for a distant country and there squandered his wealth in wild living.14 After he had spent everything, there was a severe famine in that whole country, and he began to be in need. 15 So he went and hired himself out to a citizen of that country, who sent him to his fields to feed pigs. 16 He longed to fill his stomach with the pods that the pigs were eating, but no one gave him anything.
17 “When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! 18 I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. 19 I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired servants.’ 20 So he got up and went to his father.
“But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.
21 “The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’
22 “But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. 23 Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. 24 For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate.

Panmure bridges, Cemetery and Church

Saint Patrick’s School, the oldest school in Auckland, is situated in the heart of
the suburb of Panmure in Auckland. Its surrounding area offers many
opportunities to learn about the past, together with numerous chances for
family outings.

One key feature of Panmure is the Panmure Bridge. But the Bridge that stands
today is not the original!

In 1864 the first Panmure bridge was constructed of stone, metal and steel and
was imported by R.N Russell and a Company from Sydney.

The closest bridge  to Panmure is the Panmure bridge, the bridge connecting
Pakuranga to Panmure. The bridge was designed by William Collet and
engineered by William Weave. The iron of the bridge costs 3,000  European
dollars. The bridge is used to transport people from Panmure to Pakuranga.
The bridge is called the “Harbor Bridge”.The first bridge was opened at 20
October 1865 and the second bridge was made on the 30th May 1959. On the
same day the bridge 11,205 vehicles or carts crossed the bridge daily. The
bridge costs $24 million. The bridge is 195 meters and 6 meters wide long and
One thousand person team made the bridge, it took 4 years.

The closes church and cemetery near St Patrick school is Saint Matthias
Church and Cemetery, St Matthias is the closest church and cemetery to St
Patrick's (except for Saint Patrick's church and Cemetery). In 1820 Samuel
Marsden first visit Molokai Pia the location of St Matthias church and cemetery.

Last Thursday it was my Aunts Birthday. She is 21 years old.
She came to my house around 5.40 pm.

First we prayed the Rosary at 6.00.  After that My mum and
my aunt started cooking while I was watching movies with
my older brother. We watched Jurassic World.

At 9.00 p.m. My mum and aunt finished cooking a big bowl
of spaghetti.  Then my aunt cooked squid rings, while my
mum made some  cream cheese and salmon sushi. When my
mum was finished she made some juice.

When the movie was finished we all ate.I had a lot of sushi
because I like the cheese and the salmon.Lastly we had some
chocolate cake. When we finished eating we drank some
juice.

Lastly ,when my mum finished. Washing all the plates.
We brushed our teeth. Finally we went to sleep.

I think my Aunt enjoyed her birthday
